It’s hard to believe we have this amazing facility right here in Greeley. Visitors from across the nation and around the world come to see more than 5,500 square feet of incredible model railroad engineering and imagination. From thousands of handmade trees and detailed scenery to the operating trains, there is something new to discover everywhere you look.
Take part in the Eye Spy game, search for hidden treasures throughout the layout, explore the historic caboose, and enjoy one of downtown Greeley’s most unique attractions.

Enjoy more than 21 miles of well-maintained paved pathway for walking, cycling, running, roller-blading, and more. Start your trip at Island Grove Regional Park in Greeley and head toward Colorado Highway 392 in Windsor, where the trail connects with the paved trail at River Bluff Open Space. Along the way, you’ll find informational signs highlighting historic and educational features.
The trail follows the meandering Cache la Poudre River and offers plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors, watch wildlife, stop for a picnic, or simply enjoy nature. The wide, paved pathway has gentle grades and is mostly away from roads and traffic. Dogs are welcome but must remain on a leash.
